Seamless integration – an almost invisible solution
The BOSCH DBB87DP60 Serie 6 built-in extractor hood offers seamless integration thanks to its flush installation into an upper cabinet. Say goodbye to bulky extractors and get a stylish, discreet solution that still delivers powerful performance.
Maximum storage space – finally, extra room
Maximise your kitchen's potential with an integrated cooker hood: the T-shape provides extra storage space with a load capacity of up to 20kg – 10kg on each side. Keep items close at hand while preserving valuable cabinet space, without compromising on convenience or functionality.
Matt finish – sophisticated design, effortless cleanliness
The matt black surface looks modern and minimalist, even when you open the upper cabinet. It also minimises the visibility of fingerprints, making the cooker hood easier to maintain and keeping your kitchen looking clean and tidy for longer.
Smart Hood Automatic – automatically sets the extraction speed
Smart Hood Automatic detects when you start cooking and automatically activates the fan. It dynamically adjusts the extraction power to match the hob's power and temperature settings. It works with compatible hobs. For other hobs with Home Connect, you can control the extractor manually from the hob. The hob and cooker hood must be paired via a Home Connect account.
SilentPowerDrive – enjoy quiet cooking
The SilentPowerDrive is a powerful motor that ensures the extractor runs extremely quietly. The motor is very strong at extracting steam and odours, while remaining pleasantly quiet.
Glass panel with DirectSelect – direct, fast and easy control
The elegant folding glass panel with DirectSelect touch control enhances your cooking convenience. As soon as you open the panel, the fan and lighting are automatically activated. The controls are at eye level, making access very convenient. The panel also effectively directs steam and protects furniture.
Extremely quiet and powerful – yet effective and strong
Enjoy quiet cooking with the SilentPowerDrive motor, which delivers maximum performance and energy efficiency. The folding glass panel directs steam and odours, while the metal grease filters and Long-life CleanAir filters (recirculation accessories) effectively reduce odours and even pollen. It’s a simple, effective, and reliable solution for a fresh kitchen.
Easy and versatile installation – complete flexibility
The BOSCH DBB87DP60 Serie 6 cooker hood is designed for easy, one-person installation thanks to its clever design and installation aids. It offers a wide range of configuration options and is an ideal replacement for ceiling or telescopic hoods. An optional chimney extension hides technical elements (like ducting) and its adjustable height allows it to fit into cabinets up to 90cm.
Intensive setting with automatic reset – peak performance for steam bursts
Whenever more steam is temporarily released into the room while cooking, use the intensive setting for maximum extraction power. A bonus feature: the extractor hood automatically returns to the normal setting after a few minutes, so you don't have to remember to switch it back manually.
Intensive speed setting – a solution for intense cooking
When steam starts to build up, the powerful extraction setting helps keep the kitchen clean and cooking enjoyable. For more demanding moments, a quick power boost is available.
Smart hood settings – adjust your intelligent cooker hood
In the Home Connect app, you can customise your cooker hood: choose a performance profile (efficient/quiet), use the Favourites button for quick access to selected functions (like lighting brightness), or reset the filter saturation. Your kitchen, your rules – all at your fingertips.
Dual filtration system – perfectly clean air even in recirculation mode
The advanced dual filtration system effectively removes both grease and odours. A metal filter captures coarse grease, while the Long-life CleanAir filter (activated carbon, part of the recirculation kit – accessory) tackles finer particles and odours, including strong ones (e.g., fried fish). It can be regenerated three times and lasts for up to four years.
Interval ventilation – automatic ventilation every hour
When odours build up in the kitchen, interval ventilation offers a breath of fresh air: it briefly activates the BOSCH DBB87DP60 Serie 6 cooker hood every hour. You can easily set the activation via the Home Connect app.
Filter saturation monitoring – filter care made easy
The metal grease filters need regular cleaning (by hand or in the dishwasher) to ensure maximum efficiency. Home Connect notifies you when it's time for cleaning – helping you maintain optimal performance and a fresh kitchen without any hassle.
AutoControl – a smart way to operate your cooker hood and hob
AutoControl lets you operate your Wi-Fi enabled cooker hood and hob with a single button via Home Connect. Through your smart device, you can adjust the extraction intensity, automatically switch on the lights when you activate the hob, or set the fan to run on after you finish cooking.
Easy cleaning – keeping it clean without the effort
A smooth surface with no visible screws ensures a clean look and easy maintenance. Protected areas reduce hard-to-reach places and eliminate sharp edges. The glass panel protects furniture by catching grease and steam. The metal grease filter is dishwasher-safe.
Remote diagnostics – help when you need it
If an appliance isn't working, remote diagnostics via Home Connect can help. With your permission, customer service can remotely check the appliance, identify the problem, and advise on a solution; if necessary, a technician will arrive prepared with the required parts.
Extra quiet – for open-plan kitchens
The quieter the extractor hood, the more you can focus on cooking or conversation. That's why the noise level on this extra quiet hood is reduced to a minimum – ideal for kitchens connected to dining areas and open-plan spaces.
Touch Light – illumination with a gentle touch
You can use the LED lighting even when you're not cooking – for creating atmosphere or highlighting the hob. Thanks to Touch Light, you don't need to extend the panel: a simple tap on the control surface switches the lights on or off.
LED lighting – perfectly illuminates your culinary creations
LED technology provides bright, white illumination of the cooking surface, so you won't miss a single detail while cooking. Not only does it make cooking easier, but it will also shine for thousands of hours.
Temperature Light – LED lighting for every mood
Adjust the light to suit you: from a cosy warm glow to a crisp cool white. Change the atmosphere with a single switch, depending on what you're cooking.

What does Bosch quality for generations mean?
The Bosch brand takes its customers' trust to heart. The price of the product includes a guaranteed 15-year availability of spare parts*, an extensive network of professional service centres, and warranty and post-warranty service that 90% of customers would recommend.**
*Provided the repair is functionally relevant and the parts can be stored. Applies to appliances manufactured after 1 January 2023.
**Based on a 2025 NPS survey where 90% of 3450 respondents in the Czech Republic and Slovakia reported satisfaction with BSH customer service.
What all do I need for recirculation?
You need a carbon (odor) filter and a recirculation kit, which includes a deflector and connecting ducts.
Can the hob be connected for recirculation?
Yes, hobs with integrated extraction can be adapted to work in recirculation mode.
Can I use a 60 cm hood over an 80 cm hob?
This isn't recommended — the hood should be at least as wide as the hob, ideally wider.
How long can the ducting be for external extraction?
Ideally no more than 4–5 meters, and each 90° bend effectively reduces the usable reach by about 1–1.5 meters.
Is a backdraft damper included in the package?
It depends on the model — included with some, sold separately for others.
Does the hood have a filter clean/replace alert?
Only certain, generally higher-end models offer this, with an indicator that shows when filters are saturated.
Is it possible to connect the hood with the hob?
Yes, as long as both appliances support the same wireless technology, Home Connect.
