Even more stable videos
The image stabiliser in the Canon EOS R6 Mark II camera body works closely with the optical image stabiliser in many Canon lenses. The result is up to 8 EV protection against camera shake when shooting handheld. The image stabiliser detects more types of movement than other camera image stabilisers. When shooting video, a digital video image stabilizer is added to the IBIS system and optical image stabilizer, so the resulting footage looks like it was shot professionally with a gimbal.
Features inspired by professional cameras
With the autofocus function enabled only when when detected, the Canon EOS R6 Mark II will not refocus on the background if the subject moves out of the frame. Inspired by the Canon Cinema EOS C70, this feature mimics the work of a professional sharpener to achieve filmmaker-grade results. Another technology that the Canon EOS R6 Mark II shares with Canon's Cinema EOS series cameras is the False colours feature. This provides a clear indication of the current exposure levels. Six colours, each representing a different brightness level, are superimposed in the viewfinder and preview screen images.
