High-quality printing and long-lasting photos
The Canon SELPHY QX20 uses a dye-sublimation thermal transfer printing system. The printing mechanism works with a resolution of 287×287 DPI and three colour inks in yellow, cyan and magenta. Each colour has 256 shade levels, which corresponds to a 24-bit colour depth. After the three printing passes are complete, a protective coating is applied to the photo. The print permanence is up to 100 years. Creating a photo takes approximately 40 seconds. This technology is designed for printing vibrant, rich colour images.
Wireless operation and creative options
The printer communicates with compatible iOS and Android devices via the Direct Wi-Fi function. Printing is controlled using the SELPHY Photo Layout app. The app allows you to add stamps, filters, borders, text, collages, frames and customisable layouts. The SELPHY QX20 model supports printing on XS-20L square photo paper measuring 72×85mm, as well as on XC-20L and XC-60L photo paper measuring 54×85mm. Both media types use a self-adhesive back for creative applications. The built-in battery lets you print up to 20 sheets on a single charge. Charging is handled by the supplied USB Type-C power cable.
