CORSAIR AIR 5400 LX-R RGB iCUE LINK Black
The Corsair AIR 5400 LX-R PC case with RGB iCUE LINK lets you build high-performance systems with a focus on optimised cooling. Its key feature is a three-chamber design that physically separates the main heat sources. Its construction isolates the processor and graphics card from the power supply and storage drives. This creates independent cooling zones that contribute to more stable component operation under heavy loads. The combination of a steel chassis and two curved tempered glass panels forms the basis for a clean and powerful build.
Key features of the Corsair AIR 5400 LX-R PC case with RGB iCUE LINK, black
- Three-chamber design separates the thermal zones of the processor, graphics card, and power supply
- A pair of curved tempered glass panels provides a panoramic view of your components
- Pre-installed reverse-flow fans direct the backlighting into the interior
- RapidRoute 2.0 system includes a perforated plate to simplify cable management
- Interior accommodates large graphics cards and tall air CPU coolers
- Case supports motherboards up to E-ATX format
Three-chamber design and space for powerful graphics cards
The case's construction divides the internal space into three separate parts. The main chamber is reserved for the motherboard, processor, and graphics card – the components with the highest heat output. The other two chambers are for installing the power supply and hard drives, which isolates the heat generated by these components and prevents it from affecting the main system. This division optimises airflow in each zone. The PC case's interior allows for the installation of powerful graphics cards up to 360mm long. The bottom fan positions draw cool air directly to the graphics card, supporting its cooling system. This helps maintain low operating temperatures.
ARGB PC case with reverse-rotor fans
At the bottom, you'll find three pre-installed 120mm RS-R ARGB fans. These fans use reverse-rotor technology, where the blades spin in the opposite direction. This allows them to draw air into the case while showing off their more attractive, illuminated side. The result is an unobstructed view of the ARGB lighting, free from the distracting frame and motor mount.
RapidRoute 2.0 cable management system and E-ATX support
Behind the motherboard is a 134mm deep space designed for cable management. The RapidRoute 2.0 system integrates a perforated plate that offers flexible mounting points for cable ties. The tie-down points can be moved and rotated as needed, making it easy to create a clean and tidy build with optimal airflow. The case supports motherboards from Mini-ITX up to E-ATX format, measuring up to 305 × 277mm. The internal layout accommodates E-ATX motherboards as well as large water-cooling systems.
Case connectivity
The front I/O panel centralises ports for easy connection of external devices. It includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port with a transfer speed of up to 20Gb/s, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports with a speed of 5Gb/s, and one combined 3.5mm audio jack. This interface covers the needs for connecting peripherals and devices with high data transfer demands. The case has a pair of curved tempered glass panels that cover the front and side. These panels open in a French-door style without the need for tools, and their hinges are hidden, creating a seamless corner view.
