Fan management
Corsair iCUE software serves as the central hub for complete fan management. Its interface lets you set precise PWM curves for automatic speed control from 400 to 2400RPM based on current component temperatures. The application also manages the lighting effects of the 18 individual LEDs. A single cable connects multiple iCUE LINK components, transmitting both power and data, eliminating the cable clutter common with RGB systems.
Reverse rotor fan design
The reverse rotor construction solves a common aesthetic problem when mounting fans for air intake into the case. This approach maintains the inward airflow direction but rotates the blades so that the attractive side with the RGB backlighting faces into the build. A standard fan, in contrast, would show its less appealing rear frame. The lighting is provided by 18 addressable LEDs, arranged in two separate light loops for smooth effects.
Quiet operation and quick installation
The Magnetic Dome bearing limits contact and friction between the rotor and stator, resulting in low operating noise between 10 and 38dBA and extended component life. The iCUE software also includes a unique Time Warp lighting mode, which uses precisely timed flashes to create an optical illusion of the blades standing still or spinning backwards. Overall assembly is sped up by pre-installed QuikTurn screws, which require just a single turn to secure firmly.
