This powerful, fast, flexible and easy to install eight-port switch enables you to power up to four network devices via the usual network cables using Power over Ethernet (PoE). These devices can be wireless access points (AP), IP phones, cameras, and other Ethernet devices used over the network. The network devices do not need to be near electrical outlets, allowing you greater flexibility in your choice of placement.
The switch is completely unmanaged, so no configuration is required and its installation is quick and easy. It supports Auto-MDI/MDI-X on all ports and eliminates the need to connect to another switch or hub crossover cable. It also contains auto-negotiation on each port which senses the network transmission speed (10mb/sec or 100mb/sec) and intelligently adjusts accordingly for maximum compatibility and optimal performance. As a result of its quick filtering and store-and-forward switching technology, it provides maximum network performance and reduces the transmission of bad network packets.
The switch can be used to share files, music and videos across your network or to create a multi-player gaming environment. The equipment works very quietly and is therefore ideal for use in a home or a small office. There is support for plug-and-play and it requires no configuration, making it easy to install and hassle-free.
