This switch provides a cost-effective way to create a small network or extend your existing ones. You can connect not only computers, but also a number of network devices such as IP cameras, network printers, and more. The switch has five fast Ethernet ports with automatic speed detection, so you always get the best performance. The D-Link switch also has integrated QoS optimisation for lag-free communication and smooth video streaming.
The switch works quickly and easily and doesn’t require any complicated set-ups. Aside from its consistently low power draw, it detects used ports and automatically enters sleep mode if your network traffic goes idle. The device’s rugged metal body provides sufficient cooling without a fan. Coupled with its small size, this means you can place the switch almost anywhere. The device comes with a wall mounting set and you can also protect it against theft using the Kensington security system.
