D-Link DES-1100-24

This Switch D-LINK DES-1100-24 is a compromise between price and performance. It offers the basic Smart Switch functions but is only available slightly above the price of unmanaged switches. This fills the price and performance gaps that have recently emerged from the expanding functionality of Smart Switches. All settings can be done using intuitive web-based management and SmartConsole utility. 

It has 24 ports that operate at 10/100 Mbps and offers support for features such as port mirroring, bandwidth control, or cabling diagnostics. It is designed for installation in a 11" rack, but it can also be installed separately. The transfer of larger data streams is optimized by QoS (Quality of Service) technology, so there will be no problem with IP telephony operation or when transferring HD video. The D-LINK DES-1100-24 is designed without a fan and is therefore totally silent and suitable for installation in the office.
