The DGS-1100 Series Switch is an affordable solution for small and medium businesses, deploying at both branch offices and meeting rooms. Evaluate performance with minimal worries and optimization for fast and secure video communication . But it's also a flexible solution to suit your network's intentions. It also meets advanced management, diagnostics, problem solving and energy efficiency requirements. Thanks to PoE, it can remotely power VoIP phones, wireless access points, or network cameras.

The DGS-1100 series supports the Auto Surveillance VLAN (ASV) for real-time video streaming without compromising the transmission of common network data. Auto Voice VLAN is best suited for VoIP. Automatically assigns a higher priority VLAN voice call so the switch guarantees the reliability and security of VoIP traffic. You can use the settings to reserve the bandwidth for each important port that requires preference.
Secure operation
The switch features advanced security features such as Static MAC, Storm Control and IGMP Snooping. Static MAC allows users to create access-specific MAC lists for specific ports, helping administrators restrict network access to authorized devices only. Storm Control monitors the broadcast and, in the event of packets that may flood the network, will block and drop them. IGMP Snooping is able to reduce the load on L3 routers and protect bandwidth and network throughput.
Security of the connection
The switchgear arsenal is Loopback Detection and Cable Diagnostics, which make it easy for network administrators to find and resolve your network illnesses. Loopback Detection is used to detect loops created by a particular port and automatically disconnects the affected port. The cable diagnostics function immediately tests the quality of the copper cables, detects their type and reveals damage . Unused bundles are disconnected to standby, saving a large amount of electrical power.

The intuitive web interface of D-Link Network Assistant, which enables network administrators to manage network traffic up to the level of individual ports, helps to quickly plug into the network. With this utility you do not have to change the PC's IP address, so the initial setup is a matter of a few moments. It also finds switches in the same network segment to make their bulk management a toy . You can master basic and advanced settings for found devices, including password changes and firmware upgrades.
