The Danfoss Eco BT is a stand-alone radiator thermostatic head for living areas. The head is battery powered, compact and very easy to operate with a hand wheel and one button. It is programmed in the smartphone app via Bluetooth connection. Easy to install in just 30 seconds. Supplied with adapters for all Danfoss thermostatic valves and most other manufacturers' radiator valves.
To use the product's smart features, you need to add the device to the manufacturer's app. For more information about the application (name, supported OS, supported languages) and how to add a device to the application, please refer to the product manual.
The Danfoss Eco BT thermostatic head is equipped with an Open Window function that closes the valve when the room temperature drops rapidly, thus reducing heat loss. The heating is switched off for up to 30 minutes and then the Danfoss Eco BT thermostatic head returns to its original setting. When the Open Window function is activated, this function is blocked for 45 minutes.
Easy in-app programming via Bluetooth from your smartphone or tablet. It is possible to schedule up to 3 periods of temperature reduction per day and copy the schedule for the following days. The software updates automatically when you see a notification in the app. The data security of the Danfoss Eco BT thermostat and the app paired on your smartphone is guaranteed. The system is tested by independent specialists.
During the first night of operation, the Danfoss Eco BT thermostatic head switches off the heater and restarts it to detect the exact point of valve opening. This enables the Danfoss Eco BT thermostatic head to control the temperature as economically as possible. If necessary, this procedure is repeated once a night for up to a week. It may happen that the valve will be warm during adjustment, regardless of the room temperature.
During the first week of operation, the Danfoss Eco BT learns when it needs to start heating the room to achieve the correct temperature at the desired time. Intelligent control will permanently adjust the start of heating according to seasonal temperature changes.
To keep the radiator valve functional and working at its best, the Danfoss Eco BT thermostatic valve automatically turns the valve to fully open at approximately 11:00 every Thursday and then returns to its normal setting.
