The high quality Design Engineering insulating plate is a great tool to improve the performance and lower the temperature of your vehicle. The heat insulating sheet works on a similar principle as thermal insulating tapes, except it can be formed into an exact shape and sticks well onto the smooth surfaces. The glass fibres from which this heat-insulating sheet is created isolate the heat from conductive materials. Main features of the self-adhesive thermal insulation sheet
- Original design that resembles mirror or chrome design
- DEi has several years of experience in the field of thermal insulation of the engine
- DEi insulation plate is attached using a self-adhesive surface finish
- You can simply cut out and bend any desired shape of the heat insulating sheet
- Resistance and excellent features will last at a constant temperature of up to 200°C
- The product can also resist a radiant short-term heat up to about 1100°C

Why choose a sheet instead of a thermal insulating tape?
You may have wondered if you wanted to choose the thermal insulation tape or this plate. This sheet is particularly suitable for flat surfaces to ensure maximum adhesion and sustaining all of its properties, whereas the thermal insulating tapes will not adhere themselves and therefore can loosen up. The insulating tapes are mainly used for cylinder-shaped exhaust system structures.
