Scalp protect mode uses a 'Time of Flight' sensor that constantly measures the distance between the hair dryer's head and your scalp. This allows it to automatically adjust to maintain the ideal temperature, which preserves the natural moisture of the scalp and promotes healthy, shiny hair. A Hall sensor recognises which attachment you are currently using and, based on previous use, automatically adjusts the temperature and airflow settings according to your preferences.

A built-in accelerometer can detect when the hair dryer is idle or placed on a surface, at which point it immediately reduces airflow and deactivates the heating element, saving energy and extending the life of the device.
