The Eaton UPS 91PS 8kW backup power supply operates with online double-conversion topology, providing an apparent power of 8000VA and a real power of 8000W, thanks to its output power factor of 1. The configuration is designed for professional deployment where continuous protection of connected devices is required. It offers a backup time of 11 minutes at full load, which extends to 27 minutes at half load. This power supply delivers a stable and clean output with a maximum voltage distortion of 1.5% for sensitive electronics. The flexible input connection supports both three-phase and single-phase power in the 220–415V range.

The backup power supply uses online double-conversion topology, which continuously protects connected devices from all mains power anomalies. It operates at 95.8% efficiency at full load and 95% at half load. The ESS energy-saving mode reduces operating costs with an operational efficiency of up to 98%. The output voltage has a very low distortion, which does not exceed 1.5% for linear loads. The system includes an internal maintenance bypass, which simplifies servicing without interrupting power to the load. Parallel connection increases system capacity or redundancy for up to four units simultaneously.
Battery management and protection features
The unit contains internal, non-user-replaceable batteries. ABM technology optimises the battery charging process and protects them against deep discharge. External battery modules can be hardwired to the system to extend the backup time. Cold start support starts the UPS directly from the batteries even without mains power. Surge protection and an automatic shutdown function ensure safety.
Advanced management and connectivity options
A large 5" LCD touchscreen provides clear monitoring and settings. Integrated network management and software with an automatic shutdown function ensure the safe shutdown of servers. Two communication slots support optional SNMP cards for remote management. Standard USB and RS-232 ports are also available. Both the input and output of the backup power supply are hardwired. This solution is suitable for professional deployment in data centres and industrial settings.
