ECS2000 series is clearly destined mainly for small and medium-sized corporate networks or camera systems, which requires reliable data transfer rate. Switch is packed with features and is a cost effective solution that brings continuous availability of power (IEEE 802.3ad and IEEE 802.1 watts), support VLAN segments and QoS requirements shift the classification of priorities in the second network layer (Layer 2). SFP ports for added flexibility for connecting to other networks. Optional Gigabit Ethernet SFP transceivers to suit the requirements for distance transmission. Effective management of corporate networks
IEEE802.1w Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol provides faster recovery from failed network operations, thereby increasing overall stability and reliability of the network. IEEE 802.3ad Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) increases bandwidth by automatically aggregating several physical links and balances the load even during failure of the uplink. VLAN under effective management IEEE 802.1Q reduces broadcasts, which increases the security and flexibility of transmission itself. QoS gives optimal performance to applications such as VoIP or video transmission, data received in real time and nothing to mow. Management has eight QoS queues per port for differentiated management of up to eight types of traffic and prioritization 802.1p or DSCP.

Access to ports can secure based on MAC addresses. This will reduce the overall approach to the switch to only the necessary equipment and protect yourself against DOS attacks. Port-based access control (IEEE 802.1X) provides authentication of users before granting network access. User authentication is performed using a standard based on the RADIUS server.
