The ELICA TRIBE A ISLAND is an island cooker hood made from stainless steel and clear glass. With an extraction rate of 255–500m³/h, which increases to an impressive 600m³/h on the intensive setting, the hood surprises with a low noise level of only 48–69db(A) and features controls with an LCD display. For added safety, the cooker hood is equipped with a temperature sensor that automatically switches it on in case of overheating. It includes 2×2.5W LED lighting with a temperature of 3000K and comes with an ALU grease filter. For recirculation, the cooker hood can be fitted with a LONG LIFE carbon filter. This is a highly effective odour filter that has the ability to regenerate itself and lasts for up to 3 years, whereas standard filters have an average lifespan of between 3 and 6 months. The filter requires simple maintenance; it just needs to be washed every 2 or 3 months with warm water and a mild soap (or in a dishwasher at 65 degrees Celsius) and dried in the oven for 10 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius. The hood also features an indicator to signal when the grease and carbon filters need cleaning.
