The Phoenix Contact 32A 3-phase Type 2 charging cable is designed for Mode 3 charging, which covers all charging from private and public AC stations. Thanks to the J1772 communication protocol, the cable enables effective communication between the onboard charger and the charging station. Both connectors are ergonomically shaped with a soft plastic grip, ensuring easy and comfortable handling and connection. While the cable is connected, it is protected against the ingress of particles and water. The protective caps have a higher IP54 protection rating and provide protection against dust ingress.

Durable and flexible design
The connectors of the Phoenix Contact 32A 3-phase Type 2 charging cable are made of a solid, non-flammable thermoplastic that is resistant to scratches, pressure, and impacts. The outer sheath of the cable is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPE-U), whose notable properties include flexibility, a long service life, and resistance to scratches and wear. Thanks to its high-quality materials, the cable can withstand more than 10000 connection cycles.
Safe and certified
The Phoenix Contact 32A 3-phase Type 2 charging cable has been tested to guarantee its safety. When connected, it has an IP44 protection rating; the certified protection when using the protective cap is IP54. The connectors meet the IEC 62196-2 and SAE J1772 standards.

Please note:
When handling the cable, be sure to use the protective caps every time the cable is not connected, as this significantly increases its service life. After use, the cable must be coiled correctly. Then place the cable in the bag. This will significantly increase its lifespan.
