The EVOLVEO FreeTalk 2W package contains 2 pieces of high-quality radio transmitters with a range of up to 15 km. The radio is designed to work in two bands. In the PMR 446 band (446MHz) with a power of 0.5 W and in the 448 MHz band with a power of 2W. A total of 8 channels are available in both bands. A total of 121 codes are provided for encoding each of them. These are 38 CTCSS codes, which encode based on the transmission and reception of a low tone below the speech spectrum, and 83 DCS codes, which encode based on the transmission and reception of digital data together with an audio signal. The codes are used to filter out foreign subscribers broadcasting on the same channel. The Free Talk 2W walkie talkie also enables the channel monitoring function. You can use the battery with a capacity of 1300mAh during a stay in nature that lasts several days.

Long range for use in difficult terrain
The range of the EVOLVEO FreeTalk transmitter depends on the field conditions and also on the band you use. The power of 2 W in the band 448 Mhz (channel 6-8) ensures a range of up to 15 km with the Free Talk 2W. This performance is ideal for use when connecting over longer distances or in rugged terrain. If the signal reception quality in the 446 MHz band (channel 1-5) and 0.5 W power is sufficient, it is not necessary to select channels in the 448 MHz band. At 0.5 W, the EVOLVEO FreeTalk transmitter lasts longer in operation.
Power switching option for ideal sound quality
The power of 2 W also affects the quality of the received signal of the EVOLVEO FreeTalk transmitter. If the signal quality is not sufficient at 0.5 W (channels 1-5), switch the EVOLVEO FreeTalk to a higher power of 2 W (channels 6-8), which will result in a higher quality of the transmitted sound.
