Benefits of Pre-Orders:The NEOGEO AES+ Anniversary gaming console is used to play game cartridges at home on a TV or monitor. To mark the brand's 35th anniversary, the system offers a hardware reincarnation of the original Japanese device without software emulation. The design uses redesigned ASIC integrated circuits that accurately replicate the behaviour of the original hardware from the 1990s. The device combines a retro gaming experience with modern video outputs and game save features.
The motherboard does not contain emulation software or FPGA approximation. The system is powered by redesigned ASIC silicon chips that match the original specification. As a result, the console natively runs both original and modern game cartridges for the AES platform. This gives the player 100% compatibility with the original physical media. The device offers a low-latency digital HDMI interface for connecting to modern flat-screen TVs. For fans of classic displays, the original analogue AV output required by classic CRT monitors is also still available. Integrated DIP switches on the body of the device are used for quick language selection, processor overclocking, or display mode settings.
The system addresses the previous lack of permanent memory with the included memory media. The white Memory Card stores the highest scores and saved positions from individual games. This means players won't lose their game stats when the power is turned off. The memory media is based on flash storage and does not require a backup battery.
The package includes a physical game cartridge with the legendary action game Metal Slug in a special white design. The cartridge works directly in the console's slot without needing to download data. Players can immediately launch the classic arcade shooter with detailed 2D graphics and smooth gameplay. The game includes all the original levels and enemies from the arcade machines.
The package includes a white wireless controller, which is a faithful replica of the control panel from MVS arcade machines. The controller communicates with the system using a wireless receiver with a classic 15-pin connector. The system exhibits minimal response time when buttons are pressed and the directional stick is used. Players can also connect the wireless dongle to original consoles from the 1990s. The package contains all the cabling needed to get the entire gaming system up and running immediately. The power adapter supplies electricity for the stable operation of the integrated circuits. A bundled HDMI cable, which transmits both video and audio in digital quality, handles the connection to the TV. The USB-C cable charges the battery in the controller.
