GARDENA Soil Moisture Sensor

The GARDENA Soil Moisture Sensor enables intelligent irrigation control based on the current soil moisture, thus ensuring efficient water use and precise plant care. The compact device uses electrothermal measurement to send data to a connected automated system. Based on these values, the irrigation computer can adjust the scheduled cycle or skip it altogether. The sensor is compatible with GARDENA Water Computers and Multi-Channel Control. Thanks to the five-metre extension cable, the sensor can be placed flexibly in beds, pots and lawns, where it does not interfere even when mowing. All data is available directly on the irrigation computer and the battery status is indicated by LED and via the control unit. Power is provided by two AA batteries with a lifetime of approximately one year.
