From these measured metrics, the watch derives other functions and values, such as Body Battery, Stress Score, Heart Rate Variability Status, Temperature and Altitude Acclimatisation Status, and more. The health monitoring functions also include features for measuring sleep duration and quality. In addition to duration and Sleep Score, the Garmin Fenix 9 also measures individual sleep stages, short naps, and provides recommendations for achieving better quality sleep and recovery.

You can then display detailed maps on the Garmin Fenix's screen and track your route. For outdoor activities, you can use TopoActive maps from all over the world. You can download more maps via a Wi-Fi connection. Through the Garmin Connect journal, you can create a route you want to take, and the watch will then guide you step-by-step.
