The motherboard uses a hybrid 8+2+1 phase VRM power design, which ensures stable and efficient power delivery to the processor, even when overclocking. The six-layer PCIe 5.0-ready PCB design, combined with premium chokes and capacitors, guarantees reliable operation. The UD Power Connector with solid pins provides excellent conductivity and signal transfer while reducing wear and tear from repeated plugging. Massive VRM heatsinks with double the cooling surface area dissipate heat effectively and keep the system at optimal temperatures.
PCIe 5.0 and expansion slots
The board offers one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot with PCIe UD Slot technology, which uses an all-metal stainless steel shield for three times higher load strength and 1.7× better resistance in shear tests. This solution provides sufficient support even for the heaviest graphics cards. The PCIe EZ-Latch technology makes it easy to release the slot's latch when removing a graphics card. Four PCIe 3.0 x1 slots expand the connectivity options for other components. The PCIe 5.0 standard doubles the transfer rate over PCIe 4.0 from 16GT/s to 32GT/s per lane, which significantly benefits high-performance graphics cards, storage, and AI accelerators.
High-speed memory and storage
Four dual-channel DDR5 slots support overclocking up to 7600MT/s and offer a significant performance increase over the previous generation of memory. Two M.2 slots with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface provide high-speed connectivity for NVMe drives. The board also has four SATA III ports for traditional storage.
Connectivity and networking options
The rear panel offers a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port with a transfer speed of up to 20Gbps, which doubles the performance of the previous USB 3.2 Gen 2 generation and enables fast transfer of large data volumes with its reversible connector. One USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and four USB 2.0 ports expand the options for connecting peripherals. Connectivity is complemented by Wi-Fi 6E with support for the 802.11ax standard and a new dedicated 6GHz band.
