The GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5070 WINDFORCE OC SFF 12G graphics card is based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and features a 192-bit bus. The card meets the NVIDIA SFF-ready specification and offers a compact design with a factory overclock to 2542MHz. The Blackwell architecture introduces fifth-generation Tensor Cores for maximum AI performance with FP4 format and DLSS 4, new Streaming Multiprocessors optimised for neural shaders, and fourth-generation ray tracing cores. The card supports advanced technologies like DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex 2 with Frame Warp, full ray tracing with neural rendering, and NVIDIA G-SYNC.
The WINDFORCE cooling system combines several technologies for efficient heat dissipation in a compact format. Hawk fans, with a blade design inspired by the aerodynamics of eagle wings, reduce air resistance and noise while increasing air pressure by up to 53.6% and airflow by 12.5%. The fans are arranged with an alternating rotation direction, which reduces turbulence between adjacent fans and increases airflow pressure. The 3D Active Fan system provides semi-passive cooling, stopping the fans during low GPU load or when playing less demanding games. Graphene nano lubricant extends the life of the fan bearings by up to 2.1× and ensures quieter operation. A large copper plate in direct contact with the GPU, along with composite copper heat pipes, quickly dissipates heat from the GPU and VRAM module to the heatsink. Server-grade thermal gel provides optimal contact with uneven surfaces of components like VRAM and MOSFETs and resists deformation during transport or long-term use, unlike traditional thermal pads. Screen Cooling technology with an extended heatsink allows air to pass through, improving heat dissipation.
The card is designed to NVIDIA's small form factor specification, ensuring a perfect balance between size and performance. A reinforced metal backplate with a curved edge is firmly attached to the I/O bracket, providing high structural stability that protects the card from mechanical damage. Ultra Durable certification ensures a long system lifespan thanks to specially designed MOSFETs with lower RDS(on), which produce lower switching resistance and enable faster charging and discharging at extremely low temperatures. Metal chokes hold energy much longer than common iron chokes at high frequencies, effectively reducing energy loss and electromagnetic interference. Low-ESR capacitors ensure better conductivity and a longer lifespan. The fully automated production process eliminates sharp protrusions of solder connectors on the PCB surface, making it safer to handle when building your system. The GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER software provides an intuitive interface that lets you adjust clock speeds, voltage, fan modes, and power consumption in real time.
