The GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5070 WINDFORCE SFF 12G graphics card is built on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and features a 192-bit bus. The card meets the NVIDIA SFF-ready specification and offers a compact design with a reference core clock speed of 2512MHz. The Blackwell architecture introduces fifth-generation Tensor Cores for maximum AI performance with FP4 format and DLSS 4, new Streaming Multiprocessors optimised for neural shaders, and fourth-generation ray tracing cores. The card supports advanced technologies such as DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex 2 with Frame Warp, full ray tracing with neural rendering, and NVIDIA G-SYNC.
The WINDFORCE cooling system combines several technologies for efficient heat dissipation in a compact format. Hawk fans, with a blade design inspired by the aerodynamics of eagle wings, reduce air resistance and noise while increasing air pressure by up to 53.6% and airflow by 12.5%. The fans are arranged with an alternate spinning direction, which reduces turbulence between adjacent fans and increases airflow pressure. The 3D Active Fan system provides semi-passive cooling, where the fans stop during low GPU load or when playing less demanding games. Graphene nano lubricant extends the life of the fan bearings by up to 2.1× and ensures quieter operation. A large copper plate in direct contact with the GPU, along with composite copper heat pipes, rapidly dissipates heat from the GPU and VRAM module to the heatsink. Server-grade thermal gel with high deformability provides optimal contact with uneven component surfaces like VRAM and MOSFETs, and resists deformation during shipping or long-term use, unlike traditional thermal pads. Screen Cooling technology with an extended heatsink allows air to pass through, improving heat dissipation.
The card is designed to NVIDIA's specification for small form factors. A reinforced metal backplate with a folded edge is firmly attached to the I/O bracket. Ultra Durable certification ensures long system life with specially designed lower RDS(on) MOSFETs, which produce lower switching resistance and enable faster charging and discharging at extremely low temperatures. Metal chokes hold energy for much longer than common iron chokes at high frequencies, effectively reducing energy loss and electromagnetic interference. Low ESR capacitors provide better conductivity and a longer lifespan. The fully automated production process eliminates sharp protrusions of solder connectors on the PCB surface, making it safer to handle when building your system. The GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER software provides an intuitive interface that lets you adjust clock speed, voltage, fan mode, and power consumption in real time.
