The large, illuminated, graphic dot-matrix display is easy to read. It shows the date, call duration and caller ID directly on the display. You can also use the alarm function. Thanks to the pre-registered handset to base station setup, installation is a quick Plug & Play process, allowing for immediate use straight out of the box. The phone provides up to 18 hours of talk time or up to 200 hours of standby time without charging. The radiation-free Eco Mode Plus makes it an environmentally friendly choice for home telephony.

The Gigaset A170 stores the last 25 missed and received calls in its call list. A separate list also stores the last 10 dialled numbers for quick redialling. You'll always have important numbers to hand thanks to the integrated phonebook for up to 50 contacts.
ECO DECT for Radiation-Free Calls
The Gigaset A170 cordless phone is equipped with environmentally friendly ECO DECT technology, which means the phone is radiation-free in standby mode, even when using multiple handsets. During a call, the transmission power automatically adjusts to the distance between the base and the handset. The shorter the distance to the base, the lower the radiation. For maximum DECT range, the ECO DECT mode can be deactivated at any time.
