The long wait for the original phone from Google's pen is over. The Nexus' are completely replaced by the Pixel XL model series, whose unconventional design definitely raises emotions. The completely aluminum body is complemented by a polished glass in the back of the rear camera, which makes it really unusual. The operating system is Android version 7.1 of Nougat with a new graphical environment and is completely linked to Google Assistant. The happy owner of this phone also receives unlimited cloud space for captured photos and even up to 4K video.
Key features
- A phone completely designed by Google
- Clean Android system always in the latest version
- Unlimited cloud space for photos and 4K video

The display offers a great show
The smallest of the two phones is equipped with a 5.5" AMOLED display with QHD resolution. The resulting fineness of the display is fantastic 534ppi The entire screen is covered with a Gorilla Glass 4. With rounded corners and a thickness of 7.3-8.5mm, the phone is very well held and controlled.
Google Pixel XL is a real photomobile
Great expectations are coming back with the camera, which is assisted by dual sensors. Google boasts that it earned 89 points from the DxOMark expert server, which is the highest score ever at all. The 12.3Mpx camera includes a 1.55 micron pixel sensor and a f/2.0 lens. Enhanced HDR + features are enhanced with perfect pictures, and advanced electronic image stabilisation that lets you capture unprecedented quality video.
Integration of new Google services
Together with new phones, Google has also introduced a new Google Assistant that will be an integral part of it. Just say the magic words "OK Google" and activate the virtual voice assistant connected to artificial intelligence immediately. Its use for everyday activities is fantastic, and Google promises further rapid evolutionary steps. For the time being, however, you will be satisfied with the use of English communication.
Easy transition to Pixel XL is the foundation of success
Do you plan to switch from another phone or even a competitive platform? The fear of losing important data is in place. Google has set up the Switching application that delivers complete content from your old Android phone, and virtually everything from the iPhone, using the supplied adapter.
