GS Mamavit 1 is specially formulated for women planning to become pregnant and women in the first trimester of pregnancy. It prepares the body for the demanding period of pregnancy and lays the foundation for the healthy development of the baby. It contains a complete and balanced combination of 23 vitamins and minerals, including a high dose of folic acid in its natural form, vitamin C, E and D, magnesium, of iodine, iron and other important substances, which a woman needs in increased quantities during these periods. Its unique and rich composition was developed in cooperation with experts from the Institute for Mother and Child Care in Prague-Podolí.

Active ingredients
- Folic Acid - High content of folic acid in its natural form, which is commonly found in the diet. It is involved in proper cell division and thus contributes to the growth of germ tissues during pregnancy. It is crucial for proper fetal neural tube development in the early stages of pregnancy, which can reduce the risk of birth defects and neural tube defects in the fetus.3,4 It is advisable to start taking it at least 4 weeks before pregnancy. During the first trimester, it is recommended to take 600-800 μg of folic acid per day. Folic acid in its natural form is recommended by the World Health Organization because of its high biological stability and effectiveness.
- Vitamin B1, B12, iron and magnesium help overcome the tiredness and fatigue that pregnancy often brings.
- Increased calcium and phosphorus content is necessary for bone and teeth building.
- Magnesium is important for the proper function of the nervous and circulatory systems and the proper function of muscles, including the uterine muscles.
- Iron is an element whose need increases especially in the last weeks before birth due to the increased demand of the baby's organism.
- Optimal iodine content is important for proper thyroid function.
- Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, niacin, vitamin B12, C and D are substances, which the mother's body requires in greater quantities during pregnancy and lactation.
- Vitamin A is present in the form of beta-carotene, from which the mother's body makes vitamin A according to the actual need, so there is no risk of overdose.
- Vitamin E and selenium form protection against free radicals.

- GS Mamavit 1 is intended for women planning to become pregnant and women in the first trimester of pregnancy.
- If you are planning to become pregnant, it is advisable to start taking it at least 4 weeks before becoming pregnant. Continue use throughout the 1st trimester.
- The use of GS Mamavit 1 is also possible in the following periods of pregnancy, but in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters and during breastfeeding we recommend the use of GS Mamavit 2. The latter contains extra omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids and thus corresponds more precisely to the needs of mothers and their babies in the later stages of development.
Recommended dosage
1 tablet daily after or with meals, with sufficient liquid (preferably plain water). We do not recommend taking other vitamin supplements at the same time.
Notice
Not for children. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. The product is not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
Storage
Keep out of reach of children. Store in a dry place at a temperature of 10 - 25 °C. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight.
