Construction and materials of the Hendi pot
The pot features a three-layer sandwich base, which combines an inner layer of 304 stainless steel, a middle aluminium layer, and an outer layer of 430 stainless steel. The aluminium core ensures fast and even heat conduction across the entire base. In addition, the outer steel layer allows for use on induction hobs. The body of the pot, made from 304 steel, is resistant to food acids. The stainless steel handle does not heat up during cooking and its multi-point fixing guarantees stability. The lid is made of 1mm thick stainless steel and includes a hole to release excess steam.
