Electroplated zinc
Compared to hot-dip galvanising, the electroplated zinc finish has a more attractive, coloured appearance. It is used for corrosion protection on products intended for dry indoor environments where humidity is rare. The zinc thickness is around 12 microns.
How the electroplating process works
