The secret of Bradley smokers lies in the taste hidden in Bradley wood briquettes. They are made of wood sawdust. The sawdust is pressed together at the correct densities under precisely controlled pressure. The taste of smoked meals varies considerably depending on which type of wood has been used. Oak briquettes are commonly used for smoking beef, venison and pork, such as pork shoulder or beef ribs.
Bradley smokers burn one briquette for 20min. It produces a clean taste of wood in cold smoke. Once a briquette is burned, the smoke generator automatically pushes it into a bowl of water to prevent unwanted ash bursts. Subsequently, another briquette is loaded from the container to automatically keep the smoking process running.
When burning briquettes there is no open fire, thus preserving the pure taste of selected wood. If a higher temperature of combustion of wood occurs, undesirable gases and combustion resin products will be generated. But this does not happen in Bradley smokers, so you do not have to worry that this will compromise the perfect taste of your smoked meals.

Bradley Briquettes are made of premium hardwood without additives. Tests conducted by the University of Technology in British Columbia have shown that briquettes produce smoke four times cleaner than the smoke produced by burning ordinary sawdust.
