The secret of Bradley smokehouses lies in the taste that is hidden inside Bradley wood briquettes. Hard wood sawdust is used in their production. Pieces of this sawdust are pressed together at the correct densities under precisely controlled pressure. The taste of smoked meals varies distinctively depending on which type of wood has been used. Cherry briquettes give a smoother and sweeter smoky taste, which is more than suitable for smoking poultry, venison and freshwater fish.
In Bradley smokehouse, one briquette burns for 20 minutes. It produces a clean taste of wood in cold smoke. Once a briquette is smoked out, the smoke generator automatically pushes it into a bowl of water to prevent unwanted ash bursts. Subsequently, another briquette is loaded from the container to automatically keep the smoking process running.
When burning briquettes, the fire does not occur, thus the pure taste of carefully selected wood is preserved. If a higher temperature of combustion of wood would occur, undesirable gases and resin fumes could be generated. But this doesn't happen with Bradley smokers, so you don't have to worry about these undesirable effects disrupting the perfect taste of your smoked meals.

The Bradley briquettes are made of premium hardwood without any additives. Tests conducted by the University of Technology in British Columbia have shown that briquettes produce smoke that is four times cleaner than the smoke that is produced by ordinary sawdust burning.
