Ceresit CL 69 Ultra-Dicht waterproofing and sealing strip allows waterproof and vapour-tight sealing of substrates before laying ceramic tiles on critical substrates. It can cover cracks in the substrate and guarantees high reliability even in places with extreme humidity, so it can be used in bathrooms, in the showers, public swimming pools, spas and industrial plants, like breweries, dairies and commercial kitchens. In the interior you can use it on walls and floors, while in the exterior only on floors.

Ceresit CL 69 Ultra-Dicht waterproofing strip for bridging and sealing allows easy subsequent removal of the pavement without damaging the substrate and immediate readiness for further work. It does not require drying, which speeds up the construction process. It is compatible with different materials, including concrete, lightweight concrete, cement and anhydrite screeds, underfloor heating, plasterboard, Masonry, plaster or hardened polystyrene. It is waterproof and vapour-proof.

Use:
The substrate must be firm, dry, clean and free from substances that may impair adhesion. A few isolated cracks in the screed do not cause a problem as long as the edges of the cracks are level. Prior to the application of the CL 69 membrane, pipe penetrations as well as wall and floor connections (drains, etc. ) sealed with CERESIT prefabricated elements. Spread the insulation strip on the surface and cut it to the desired length. Apply Ceresit CM adhesive mortar to the pre-prepared substrate with a 4 mm tooth trowel and place the insulation strip into the still fresh adhesive mortar. Lay the strips with an overlap of at least 5 cm. To achieve a uniform minimum height, run the edge of a steel trowel over the laid strips, or use a rubber roller to smooth the entire surface with pressure.
