If you have a well at home, you probably know that at water levels of less than 9 metres a submersible pump is needed to pump water. One of the most popular submersible pumps is the Elpumps VP 300, with a capacity of 1440 litres/hour. Unlike some other pumps on the market, it has thick double aluminium walls and a unique vibration diaphragm system, which ensures long life.
You can use the pump to pump clean water from wells, boreholes or tanks. It is perfect for cottages and family houses with their own water. It is also great for irrigation and water pressure systems. Water can be carried for up to 60 metres.
The designers of this pump also thought about a potential situation where damage might occur. So, the pump consists of two separate parts - a motor section with a 20m long cable, and an electrical cabinet and a second hydraulic section. This arrangement greatly facilitates servicing and repair work, saving you extra money.
In the event of impedance or flooding, the pump motor is protected by a thermal fuse. The weight of the pump is just 5kg, due to the use of aluminium instead of the more conventional stainless steel.
