The Fiskars Houseplant Watering Spikes are the ideal solution for automatic watering when you are busy or on the move. The porous ceramic tips ensure a stable supply of moisture directly to the roots. They are designed for stand-alone use with any water container or as an extension of the Fiskars Watering System. The porous ceramic tips work on the principle of gradual permeability. They release water into the soil evenly and only when the substrate is drier, which prevents overwatering and drying out of the plant. Easy to use with any water source. Simply connect the spikes with a hose to a bucket, teapot or other container of water. Thanks to the siphon effect, the tip itself draws in the required amount of liquid and transports it directly into the pot.
