PATTEX Bituminous roofing sealant, black 280 ml

PATTEX Bitumen Roofing Sealant is a plasto-elastic sealant based on polymers and bitumen, which contains solvents. The product is designed for bonding and repairing various surfaces. It is exceptionally suitable for repairing roofs, drainage elements, chimneys, etc. The sealant can also be used in the construction of greenhouses, for sealing foundations, and for other underground insulation. It is a thixotropic mass that adheres excellently to most building materials, such as roofing felt, bricks, concrete, lead, zinc, tiles, insulation panels, some plastics, etc. The sealant has excellent adhesion to most materials. It is resistant to UV radiation, permanent moisture, and surface friction and pressure. After curing, it remains permanently elastic. It does not contain asbestos, protects against corrosion and moisture, and is non-flammable when used correctly. It has excellent insulating properties.

Use:
Joints must be clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. Cut off the top of the cartridge above the thread and screw on the nozzle. Cut the nozzle tip according to the width of the joint or seam. Insert the cartridge into the application gun and apply the sealant evenly. Apply the silicone directly into the joint and then smooth it with a scraper or a finger dipped in soapy water. Painting over is not recommended because the paint will not adhere properly due to the sealant's elasticity. Remove any excess adhesive immediately with a damp cloth. Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically.
