The Plonos polytunnel is used for growing plants and creating stable conditions even in colder weather. With a usable area of 10m², it provides plenty of space for your crops. The structure is made of galvanised steel profiles, complemented by a PE cover with UV protection. For easy climate regulation and ventilation, the polytunnel is equipped with eight windows with mosquito nets and a roll-up zipped entrance. Once covered with soil, the bottom apron protects the cover from being blown underneath by the wind.

Construction
The base of the polytunnel is a frame assembled from steel profiles with a diameter of 25mm. All tubes have a double-sided galvanised finish that protects them from corrosion and extends their lifespan. The wall thickness of the tubes is 0.7mm. For additional reinforcement of the entire structure, double profiles are used in the upper arched section, which increases overall stability and resistance to weather conditions.
Cover for protection and growth
The polytunnel is covered with a polyethylene (PE) sheet with a density of 140g/m². This material features a UV4-proof filter, which protects plants from the negative effects of sunlight. The cover also has high sunlight permeability and a low reflection coefficient, which creates ideal conditions for growth. The properties of the material allow the cover to be properly stretched and fitted to the structure.
Features for cultivation
Access is provided by a 180×80cm roll-up door that closes with a zip. Ventilation and humidity control inside are easily managed with eight windows featuring insect nets. The windows are located four on each side wall and can be closed with Velcro. The bottom edge of the cover is finished with an apron, which, when covered with soil, prevents wind from getting underneath and damaging the cover. The package also includes a 100m sisal string for tying up plants.
