PPG Primalex thick-coat pine varnish, 0,75 l

PPG Primalex high-build stain in a pine shade is designed for protective coatings on interior and exterior wooden surfaces. It creates a transparent, highly flexible film that protects wood from UV radiation and weather damage. It dries to a glossy finish and is suitable for fences, pergolas, cladding, windows, and doors.

Durable and flexible protective film

This wood stain creates a thicker protective layer on the surface, increasing its overall durability. Its high flexibility lets the coating respond effectively to changes in the wood volume caused by moisture and temperature, minimising the risk of cracking. The glossy finish not only highlights the look of the wood but also forms a barrier against harsh weather conditions and UV radiation.

Application and technical specifications

Apply the stain with a brush onto a clean, dry surface. We recommend two coats to achieve the best results. One litre covers approximately 15m² of surface area in a single coat, although the final consumption depends on the absorbency and type of wood. The drying time before applying the next coat is approximately 24 hours. You can also tint the pine and clear shades in Primalex tinting machines.
