PPG Primalex thin-layer varnish 3in1 Canadian yew, 2,5 l

Primalex 3-in-1 thin-layer solvent-based woodstain is designed for protective and decorative coats on exterior wooden surfaces. It combines impregnation, a base coat and a final woodstain, which eliminates the need to apply multiple separate products. The formula soaks deep into the wood's structure, providing protection against UV radiation, weathering, mould, fungi and wood-boring insects. As a thin-layer stain, it enhances the natural grain of the wood and creates a matte film in a yew shade on the surface that won't crack or peel.

Easy application and subsequent maintenance

You can apply the woodstain with a brush to a prepared surface. The surface must be clean, dry and free of old coats and dirt. Two coats are recommended for optimal protection. One litre treats approximately 15m² of surface area in a single coat, but the final consumption depends on the absorbency and type of wood. The drying time before applying another coat is about 12 hours. A major advantage is that you don't need to sand down the original layer for subsequent treatments.
