AS-DRIVE System for Bolt Protection
YATO sockets are equipped with the AS-DRIVE system, which protects fasteners from wear. The inner profile of the socket head is specially shaped into a slight curve. Thanks to this, when engaged, the main force is not applied to the edge of the bolt but is transferred over a larger area. This principle significantly reduces the risk of damaging the edges and also allows for the loosening of bolts that are already partially worn.
