Everyone can install the HmIP-HAP central unit
You may have had a historically bad experience with the wiring of smart home features. However, in the case of the Homematic IP central unit, the situation is completely different. Basically, you just need to connect the unit with a cable to your internet router (Ethernet cable included). Then just install the mobile app and pair everything by reading the QR code which is located on the back of the central unit Homematic HmIP-HAP. You will also receive installation material with the device. So you don't just have to put the central unit on a table, it can also be mounted on the wall.
Control your smart home with Homematic IP via an app in Czech
The entire Homematic IP smart home system is controlled via an accompanying mobile app. It is completely Czech and of course available for free for Android and iOS. An intuitive user interface guides you through all the key features, including creating your own scenarios. The app is regularly updated and enriched with more interesting features. In the app, you'll have an overview of the scenarios you've created, which you can edit and expand as needed. You can also monitor the operating costs of devices connected to the Homematic IP system.

A system button is located on the central unit of the Homematic HmIP-HAP to indicate the change of status with different LED colours.
