The Homematic IP HmIP-RC8 multifunctional wireless remote control with 8 configurable buttons is part of the Homematic IP smart home system. The remote control allows easy control of pre-programmed operations and is an alternative to the Homematic IP application. Each of the eight buttons can be adapted to your individual needs via the Homematic IP mobile app. Depending on the assigned program, each button can control multiple devices and functions of the Homematic IP smart home. In addition to basic operations such as switching or dimming the luminaires, you can activate several functions at the same time by pressing one button in the form of a pre-programmed scenario

Operation
Operation with 8 buttons:
Each button can be independently configured independently of the others and thus conveniently control already connected (programmed) devices. In addition to basic operations such as switching or dimming the luminaires, you can activate several functions at the same time by pressing one button in the form of a pre-programmed scenario. For example, pressing the button will turn on the lamp in the living room, start the TV and home cinema while the ceiling light will dim.
Operation with 4 pairs of buttons:
The buttons next to each other can be freely configured to form a pair. For example, the left button can have the function "Switch on device/Lower light intensity/Run blinds", while the right button can have the function "Switch off device/Increase light intensity/Run blinds".
Diverse and reliable use
With battery power and long wireless range (up to 300 m), the multifunctional remote controller (HmIP-RC8) can be used anywhere in the house. The interchangeable label field for the individual buttons, on the bottom of the controller, provides the necessary overview of the assigned functions or devices.
