Under the cover at the bottom of the device there is a tray for two 1.5 V AA batteries and the stand can thus work very well as a docking power station even for inserted devices without power batteries
If a wireless battery component is integrated into the Battery Stand (HmIP-DS55), the working time of this component will be increased due to the use of AA batteries instead of the commonly used AAA batteries directly in the device
