Not just power, but also energy savings

The computational performance of the assembly is in charge of 14 Intel Xeon E5 2680 v4 processors . The Intel VT-x virtualization technology is significant, allowing one hardware platform to function as a multiple virtual environment.

Multi-threaded operations will run faster with a set of instructions aimed at making the most efficient use of individual cores in parallel processes. In idle mode , however, the power-saving mode is activated , in which the processor only uses the required power to run all running applications. The assembly adds 32 GB of DDR4 and a 512 GB fast SSD.

Up to 8 monitors for multitasking

The advantage of the cabinet is its easy scalability and therefore its future flexibility. In addition, the HP Z840 MT supports the simultaneous operation of two graphics cards for up to 8 monitors. The cabinet can be further fitted with four 3.5-inch hard disks and a pair of 5.25-inch devices. In its port, you'll find four USB 2.0 ports, nine high-speed USB 3.0 connectors and, of course, a combined headphone and microphone jack.
