This miniature multimedia computer attracts attention at first glance with its compact and elegant body measuring only 11.5 x 11 cm in size. Despite its small dimensions, it packs a lot of power and can handle a wide array of uses. The Intel NUC 7i5BNK (The Next Unit of Computing) features a powerful and very cost-effective Intel Core i5 7260U processor with the latest Kaby Lake architecture that allows you to seamlessly play movies, browse photos, or perform your normal everyday tasks. Even at full load its power consumption doesn’t exceed 15 W, which means the PC produces very little excess heat and the cooling remains whisper quiet. The processor supports Hyper-Threading technology that allows it to function as if it were a quad-core processor. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 640 graphics card takes care of graphic rendering.
The computer is encased in a compact body with two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots, leaving the choice of system memory up to you. There is also a M.2 SSD slot and a built-in network card with speeds up to 1 Gbps. Connective features include two USB 3.0 connectors on the front, one blue and one yellow, which are constantly powered. So you can charge your smart phone even if your computer is turned off. Another two blue USB 3.0 ports can be found on the back, along with a HDMI and Thunderbolt 3 port, which can serve as a USB-C 3.1 or DisplayPort.
