The pointed blade of the KDS 8 FROSTHARD butcher knife is made of high-quality N6MoV stainless steel containing molybdenum and vanadium. After hardening, it is then cooled using liquid nitrogen technology down to -196°C, thereby obtaining significantly better mechanical properties, higher resistance to wear and corrosion, and blade hardness (up to 2 HRC to 57–59 HRC).
