KREUL Glass & Porcelain Pen CLEAR, 2-4 mm, Transparent Blue

The Kreul Glass & Porcelain Pen is for decorating glass, porcelain, ceramics, and metal. Its transparent blue water-based colour is lightfast and lets you create designs on heat-resistant materials. For a permanent result, let the design dry and then cure it in the oven. After this process, the decoration is dishwasher-safe and will withstand everyday use. Only paint on surfaces that will not come into contact with food.

Easy preparation and use

Before using the pen for the first time, shake it thoroughly with the cap on. Then, pump the nib repeatedly on a piece of paper until the colour appears. This ensures a smooth and even line. If you make a mistake with your design, there’s no need to worry. As long as the colour has not been cured, it can be removed with water and a damp cloth.

Permanent decoration after oven curing

To achieve a permanent decoration, let the painted design dry for approximately four hours. Then, place the object into a cold, non-preheated kitchen oven. Set the temperature and let the design cure at 160°C. Once the time is up, let the object cool down inside the oven. The colour will be fixed and will gain the durability needed for washing in a dishwasher.

Sturdy nib for precise lines

The pen is equipped with a sturdy round nib that makes your work easier. Its 2–4mm line width is suitable for both writing and drawing details, as well as for colouring smaller areas. The water-based ink is lightfast, so your creations will not fade over time, even when exposed to light. The transparent effect of the colour stands out particularly well on light-coloured backgrounds and glass.
