Innovations (advantages) compared to the heating mat
Total heating:
Unlike the LARX Carbon Kit, which heats truly all over, the heating cable or heating mat is only a linear heating element. Therefore, even with the best arrangement of the heating cable meander (mat), the temperature distribution in the floor will not be as good as with carbon foil.
Savings through more efficient heat transfer:
The LARX Carbon Kit has contact with the floor covering over its entire surface. This makes temperature distribution and heat transfer much more efficient than with a heating cable.
When drilled through, it keeps heating:
Unlike linear systems (snake), the carbon foil will still function without problems even if accidentally drilled.
Thanks to its simple and exceptionally thin design, the LARX Carbon Kit eco can be placed directly underneath a stacked floor covering certified for underfloor heating.
Installation and use of LARX Carbon Kit eco
The LARX Carbon Kit is a ready and prepared solution for underfloor heating. The base is LARX durable carbon foil, professionally insulated, with 3m long connectors and lead wires. The LARX Carbon Kit only needs to be laid out and wired according to the included instructions, no electrical fasteners are needed. Installation is simple, it can be done by the customer or the flooring engineer, also thanks to the wide choice of dimensions. One set contains one strip of carbon film of a specific size. The individual strips can be freely connected in parallel up to a total output of 2,300 W for a 10 A circuit breaker and 1.5 mm2 wiring.
