LIEBHERR CFe 2080 freezer with SmartFrost technology
With Liebherr's SmartFrost technology, frost formation in the freezer's interior and on the frozen food itself is radically reduced. This minimises the need for defrosting. The foamed-in evaporator wraps around the freezer interior in coils, enabling very rapid temperature exchange with extremely low energy consumption. The inner walls of the LIEBHERR CFe 2080 freezer are very smooth and therefore easy to clean.
StopFrost technology reduces frost build-up inside the LIEBHERR freezer
StopFrost technology is excellent at preventing and significantly reducing frost build-up inside the LIEBHERR CFe 2080 chest freezer by rapidly capturing and removing moisture from the air. Thanks to the StopFrost system, defrosting is needed much less often. When the chest freezer is opened, warm air can enter. The StopFrost system prevents a vacuum from forming inside the appliance when the lid is subsequently closed, so the freezer lid can be easily reopened immediately without any effort.
SuperFrost automatic function
Using the automatic SuperFrost function provides highly efficient and energy-saving freezing. At a temperature of -32°C, heat is rapidly removed from newly added food, drastically lowering its temperature and significantly reducing the crystallisation effect of water within the food. Once the freezing process is complete, or after a maximum of 65 hours of operation, the SuperFrost function is automatically switched off. The SuperFrost freezing process preserves the maximum amount of nutrients in the stored food.
