The CURAPROX Baby orthodontic soother is designed for children from 30 months of age and supports the correct development of the oral cavity. Unlike conventional soothers, its shape helps prevent dental anomalies, such as a misaligned bite or incorrect tongue position. Thanks to its design, it partially corrects anatomical deviations while preventing them from worsening. The flat tip, side wings and soft silicone membrane actively support the natural growth of the jaw and correct swallowing.

Corrective function for healthy development
The CURAPROX Baby soother was designed in collaboration with experts to actively support the correct development of a child's mouth. Its flat tip does not push the palate upwards, which helps prevent a high-arched palate and subsequent shifting of the teeth. The side wings gently press on the side walls of the jaw and support the formation of an optimal dental arch. It also includes a soft silicone membrane that moves with the mouth, supporting the natural swallowing process.
An active soother strengthens the oral muscles
Unlike conventional soothers that are held passively in the mouth, the CURAPROX Baby acts as an active aid. To prevent it from falling out, the child must engage their tongue and cheek muscles. This is what activates the soother's corrective abilities. The pressure of the tongue on the membrane towards the palate causes the side wings to push the jaw into the correct shape. The soother not only helps to correct existing deviations but also strengthens the muscles important for proper articulation.
Promotes proper breathing
Correct jaw development is closely linked to healthy breathing. The soother helps prevent the narrowing of the upper airways, which often leads to undesirable mouth breathing. Breathing through the nose is crucial for a child because it promotes the supply of oxygen to the brain and utilises the nose's natural filtering ability. Children who breathe through their nose tend to be less prone to respiratory illnesses and have a lower risk of tooth decay caused by a dry mouth.
