The well-known medieval herbalist Hildegard von Bingen claimed that whoever drinks a cup of thyme tea in the morning will feel a pleasant sensation in their stomach and a general sense of well-being. Treat your body to a balanced combination of herbs for your digestion. This herbal blend with mint and thyme supports smooth digestion. Camomile soothes the stomach, while thyme, caraway, and peppermint contribute to normal digestion.

Preparation and Dosage

Pour boiling water (250ml) over 1 teabag and infuse in a covered container for 10 minutes. The tea should be drunk warm. Always prepare fresh.

Adults:
2–4 cups per day

Children from 3 years of age:
1–2 cups per day

Taste and Aroma

In the tea's flavour, you will recognise the pungency of ginger, a pleasant peppermint tone from the mint, the freshness of lemongrass, and the subtle bitterness of thyme. Mint plays the primary role in the infusion's aroma, but it is wonderfully complemented by lemongrass. You will also smell heady thyme, the familiar caraway, and camomile. The infusion has a golden-honey colour reminiscent of late summer.
