Caffeine-free tea
A red caffeine-free tea with the delicate taste and aroma of Irish whiskey and cocoa. Honeybush tea is made from the small leaves of the wild-growing Cyclopia intermedia shrub, which contain a high amount of minerals (iron, calcium, zinc, potassium, magnesium, manganese, copper, sodium). The infusion has beneficial effects against viruses, bacteria and fungi, helps to ease coughing, has a positive effect on diabetes, and can help reduce fat and cholesterol levels in the blood. Suitable for all-day drinking as it contains no caffeine, so it can also be enjoyed in the evening and before bed. It works well as a delicious hot drink or a refreshing cold one. It also tastes great with milk.
Ingredients
Honeybush 98%, flavouring.
Preparation
For 0.5L of water, use 6 teaspoons of tea. Pour over with 100°C water (let boiled water stand for about 2 minutes). Infusion time is 6–8 min.
